Ruby's Gem
Here's Ruby! I wanted to use my friend's character for this class so that I could learn more about visual design. Here's a ref above and a description below.
The centerpiece of Ruby the Robot's chest is a mesmerizing, multifaceted gem that captivates the eye with its radiant brilliance. The gem, a lustrous blend of crimson and scarlet hues, sits proudly on her metallic frame, embedded in a sleek, custom-crafted housing. It serves not only as a striking adornment but as the nexus of her extraordinary powers.
As light dances upon its crystalline surface, the gem emanates a warm, inviting glow, casting a subtle luminance in its immediate surroundings. The gem is perfectly cut, creating intricate facets that playfully reflect the ambient light, giving it an almost ethereal quality.
Each of the eight elements Ruby commands is intricately represented within the gem's core. Fire, embodied by flickering shades of red and orange, appears as if a miniature inferno dances within. Wood manifests through delicate patterns reminiscent of tree rings, while water's fluidity is captured in gentle, cascading ripples. Electric pulses course through in vibrant streaks, while air is embodied by subtle, ever-shifting currents.
The darker recesses of the gem harbor the enigmatic forces of dark and light. Dark, a velvety abyss, seems to absorb surrounding light, creating an aura of mystery. In contrast, light radiates a brilliant luminescence, casting a dazzling glow that hints at untold possibilities.
Lastly, ice's presence is crystallized in a frozen tableau, capturing the essence of frigid beauty. Each elemental manifestation within the gem is a testament to the mastery Ruby possesses over the fundamental forces of nature, reminiscent of the iconic Mega Man, but with a unique and enchanting robotic elegance. The gem stands as a testament to Ruby's technological prowess and her ability to wield the elemental forces at her command, a dazzling centerpiece on her metallic chest that symbolizes both power and beauty.
